Grazia’s School of Fashion Journalism

In January Grazia Holland launched a “School of Fashion Journalism’ in collaboration with Fontys University. Since there is no journalism course that deals with fashion in Holland, Grazia wanted to share all its experience and knowledge on the subject. A total of eight meetings with theoretical lectures, writing assignments and a visit to Amsterdam’s Fashion Week for 45 students to learn all they needed. Every class was held by professional teachers; guest speakers included Grazia Holland’s Editor-in-chief, a catwalk photographer and several Fashion Editors. History of fashion, a fashion interview with an expert writer, a fashion shoot, the relationship between fashion and digital media and also blogging are the main topics of the course. At the end of the course, students receive a certificate and they are ready to take their first steps in the professional fashion world.
