In September, Grazia India celebrate the first anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality, with a big, multiplatform project. 22 designers gave their interpretation of Pride by lending the basic white Tee a fierce do-over .The T Shirts were then adorned by members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community for a beautiful 10 page feature in the September Issue. This was the Grazia way of showing its support for striking down the judgement. On 6th September, the anniversary of the judgement, Grazia launched the story with a 9 post takeover of the Instagram page. This was followed by a stream of posts throughout the day with an image & video byte of the models involved in the shoot. To take this a notch further, Grazia also organized an offline event at SOHO House Mumbai followed by an intimate panel discussion of the year it’s been since the judgement one year ago. The guest list included members and allies of the community along with celebrity influencers. The event has been covered on social media handles along with a post event coverage in the subsequent issue of Grazia.
