From 18th to 23rd April, the Xi’an International Fashion Week was held for the first time at North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a unique and evocative location in the historic city of Xi’an. Grazia, with her ten-year authority in China in the world of fashion and style, created this very important project supported by the Chinese Government. Antiquity, culture and history have joined with creativity and stars of fashion to give life to a project articulated in different phases. During the week many fashion shows of the most important fashion brands took place, culminating in the special Grazia Day on April 20th, with the DAZZLE, I.T and Stella McCartney fashion shows. At the same time, the “GRAZIA Studio & Fashion Exhibition” has been set up at the Xi’an SKP, where were reconstructed a Grazia Italy office of 1938 and areas representing fashion, music and celebrities of the last decades. A sort of time machine for traveling in the history of fashion and style. In addition to all this, the week was full of meetings, talks with opinion leaders from the fashion world and exhibitions in different areas. The event had a huge media coverage on all social media platforms as well as a special Xi’an supplement.
